Currently, the LoGMIEER has the five branches of engineering i.e. Civil, Computer, Electrical,Electronics & Telecommunication and Mechanical Engineering, with an intake capacity of sixty students in each, totaling three hundred plus. The institute has developed mostly in all the dimensions in a very short span of time. It has well equipped laboratories as per new syllabus of University of Pune. It furnished with modern furniture and teaching learning mechanisms. The spacious & well ventilated classrooms, laboratory halls, wide corridors, mega size modern passenger lifts, seminar halls for each department are some of the main features of the infrastructure of institute.
The library contains around six thousand text and reference books, hundreds reports of conferences, workshops and seminars held at national as well international level and current volumes & achives of research journals of all branches of engineering. The e-connection to access the e-copies of research papers from many reputed journals which are subscribed by the institute.
The institute has tie-up with a Boys’ and a Girls’ hostels located in close proximity. There are numerous Boys’ and Girls’ hostels and mess of different economic range available in the nearby area.
As the LoGMIEER is centrally located, it does not require any private transport facility at institute level. The city buses and share auto rickshaw are available from every corner of the Nashik city, round the clock, to Canada Corner and KVN Naik circle, which are at walking distance from institute.
Each department of the institute is headed by a senior personality, having a good exposure in the field and in academics as well. The faculties in different departments are well qualified, experienced and devoted in teaching and learning process. The faculty members are frequently trained by master trainers through orientation programme to enhance their teaching and communication skill. The academic of LoGMIEER are continuously monitored by a sensible and logical system. i.e. “Academic performance Monitoring & Auditing system (APMAS)”. Which is controlled by academic committee headed by “Academic Dean”. The students are motivated to complete their academic activities in planned time frames during the semester to avoid the mental stresses at the end.
The students’ association of each department looks after the various extracurricular activites individually at the departmental level and jointly at the institute level, such as workshops, seminars, academic competitions, cultural programs, social gathering, sports etc. The technical visits, expert lectures by technocrats from insustries and management professional are also arranged frequently.
Training & Placement:-
Although the first batch will reach in final year in 2014-15, the Training & placement office is in its place in LoGMIEER. The T&P department includes a team of faculties from each department and headed by a qualified and experienced T&P officer.
